Investment Associate

The Investment Associate will support the evaluation, execution, and management of investment opportunities across Vena Group’s renewable energy portfolio. Working closely with senior investment professionals, the role will provide exposure to the investment lifecycle of renewable energy projects, from development and construction through to operations.
The role will be involved in a range of core investment activities, including financial modelling, valuation analysis, investment and project due diligence, market research, and preparation of investment committee materials. The Investment Associate will also support transaction execution by coordinating with internal teams, external advisors, and counterparties, and contribute to the ongoing monitoring and analysis of portfolio projects.
This is an opportunity to develop a strong understanding of the investment considerations and economics of renewable energy projects across different stages of their lifecycle. The role requires strong analytical and technical skills, sound commercial judgment, and effective communication, together with a proactive and collaborative approach. The successful candidate will work as part of the investment team to support the evaluation and delivery of high-quality investment opportunities in line with Vena Group’s strategic objectives.
技能
1. Masters / Professional qualification such as CPA / CFA
2. Minimum 2 years in private equity, principal investments, investment banking / corporate finance advisory, project finance. Ideally covering infrastructure sector
3. Have worked through a project cycle of renewable energy project and achieving financial close
4. Financial modelling and proper understanding of accounting principles
5. Good understanding of various valuation methodologies and principles, including but not limited to DCF
6. Able to significantly contribute to creation of written materials (presentations, IC memos, etc.)
7. Possess sound understanding of renewables / infrastructure industry, identify key valuation drivers / risk and perform in depth due diligence accordingly
8. Organized with good project management stills
9. Able to communicate effectively with internal and external audiences
10. Has good interpersonal skills and works well as part of group
11. Maintains positive attitude under pressure.
